this portland girl learned how to sew, cook & bake from her grandma elizabeth jane. she inspired me throughout my life to create. i went on to learn knitting, crochet & canning to name a few. although i have craft a.d.d., with so many projects going at once, i'm hoping this blog will help me bring more projects through to completion while i share them with you.

making rain
It's another beautiful day in Portland & what do i do? i make some rain. i've been having fun with paint chips.
& you can't have rain & sun together with out a rainbow...
paint chips, paper punches (borrowed from my wonderful neighbor Karen), & a sewing machine, add a jump ring & you have the beginnings of some great mobiles.
Hey, I really like this!! There are so many paint chip craft ideas out there, but so many of them still have the name of the color on them and I don't care for that. This is adorable.
thanks! it's fun and crafty. Brian always says, "put those back it's embarrassing." I'm always walking out of home depot with a smallish pile of them...
Vaughn loves his! He needs more!
